I was saddened earlier this year with the death of Seve Ballesteros. Seve was my inspiration when I was growing up and playing as a junior at the Gisborne Golf Club.

I looked forward to watching Seve every Friday night on Pro - Clebrity Golf on the ABC and then going out on Saturday and pretending to be him. The world is poorer for his passing
